Shire Psychology & Counselling
We all depend on and exist in relationship. It is what makes us human, keeps us happy and healthy. Relationships support us in the hard times and intensify our joy in the good times. However, sometimes relationships are also the source of great pain that cab sit with us for a time or a lifetime. At Shire Psychology and Counselling (SP&C) we work with you wherever you are in your relationships..
SP&C is based at Woronora Heights and offers people in the Sutherland Shire and further afield, family counselling, relationship counselling, couple counselling and individual counselling services. SP&C normally is staffed by Veronica and Barry Borham. While Veronica is still involved in the work of SP&C she is currently taking a six month sabbatical. This website will be updated with her availability at the end of that time.
Barry is a registered Counsellor & offers therapy and counselling services in Sutherland Shire and the wider community. He runs sessions for individuals & couples in the Sutherland Shire on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Barry enjoys working with men and women, couples & relationships in crisis, adolescents and our older members of society. He has a particular interest in working with men of all ages in embracing the emotions that sometimes run rampant through their lives, or perhaps just as difficult, emotions that seem to be absent altogether in the relationships they and their partners value. He also works with anxiety, depression, stress, confidence, grief, loss, trauma, relationship, attachment and marriage or family breakdown, divorce & other individual & relationship issues.
Barry is a registered WorkCover provider for people who are seeking Counselling services under WorkCover insurance. Please see your GP for a referral to Barry for counselling that is to be provided under the WorkCover scheme.
